đŸŒ±

White and pink milkweed, grown by hand in Alberta.

Collected from my own patch—three years in the making. Now ready to share.

If you’d like to plant milkweed to help the monarchs, I’ll send you free seeds from this season’s harvest. To keep this program sustainable, I use the old-school method: Self-Addressed Stamped Envelopes.

🌾 Milkweed Types You May Receive:

Common Milkweed (Pink Blooms):

This is the showy, fragrant classic—broad leaves and clusters of pink star-shaped flowers. Monarchs love it for both nectar and egg-laying.

Swamp Milkweed (White Blooms):

More delicate and compact, swamp milkweed thrives in wetter soil. Its white flowers bloom in gentle sprays—and it’s just as vital to monarchs.

📬 How to Request Seeds:

To receive free seeds, please mail a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (meaning: an envelope with your name, address, and proper postage 1st class stamp on it) to the address below. Then I’ll send seeds back to you—no charge.

If you send two envelopes, I’ll do my best to send one of each—otherwise, it’ll be dealer’s choice. đŸŒ±

✹ Why It Matters:

Milkweed is the only plant monarch caterpillars can eat. But it’s more than that:

  • 🌿 It’s a perennial—it comes back year after year
  • 💧 It’s drought-resistant, perfect for tough summers
  • 🐝 It attracts all kinds of pollinators—bees, butterflies, and beneficial bugs
  • đŸš« It grows without pesticides or herbicides
  • 🏡 And it’s beautiful—fragrant, architectural, and bold in any garden

By planting even one, you’re giving monarchs a place to land, grow, and survive—while restoring the health of your local ecosystem.

Let’s plant with haste—and without waste.

🩋 One seed at a time, we bring the wings back.
